 Hey y’all! I’ve always been a fan of Kylie’s lip kits. The matte liquid lipstick combo along with the matching pencil are wonderful for an all day look. With the recent  push for cleaner cosmetics, Kylie revamped her makeup line including the formulas for her lip kits. In my video, I compare the two to determine if they are still worth it!

 Hello everyone! If you’re like me, it’s probably been a minute since you ordered or purchased clothing that wasn’t pjs or lounge wear! Now that outside is starting to open up, I decided to add a few cute, yet comfy, outfits to my wardrobe. Fashion Nova happened to have a 4th of July sale and I used that time to purchase a few things. I must admit it has been over a year since my last Fashion Nova order so I wasn’t sure what to expect! Giving Firstleaf wine membership a try- wine, wine & more wine!

 As we all know Big Brother is always watching and keeping track of what we browse, shop and and interact with online. Given I am a wine fiend, I’ve had quite a few ads appear in my Instagram and Facebook feeds. Firstleaf was one of them. I’d seen them before but never really thought I was their type of audience. Around Black Friday, they were offering a special introductory offer to get 6 bottles for 19.99 and I took the bait. Fast forward about 3 months and I finally take them up on the offer and order. I took a quiz first to give them an idea of the type of wines I may be interested in and they curated a box based on my results. I got a mix of red and white that I am so excited to try! I consider myself a sweet to semi-sweet wine drinker so I’m curious to see how my tastebuds like something different than the usuals. I also browsed the site and found some more wines that peaked my interest. Even if I don’t decide to keep a membership long term, I definitely see myself ordering from them again soon! Ulta Haul!! Feat. Marvel’s Black Widow & Ulta Makeup Collaboration

   

First Wonder Woman & now the Black Widow! I was never a huge comic book reader but I definitely knew about the key players, especially the few bad ass female characters ! Ulta has teamed up with Marvel and released a super cute makeup collection from the packaging to the products in celebration of the Black Widow movie set to release in 2021. I snagged 3 of the 4 lip kits and the eyeshadow palette from the collection. The eyeshadows have become some of my favorites already. Ulta brand has definitely stepped up their quality and pigment game! One of my favorite looks is using the color Covert as my “background” or transition color and topping it with Fiery which is a beautiful shimmery golden red. Herencia Clothing Unboxing

 As part of my continued personal goal to support minority owned (especially small) businesses, I decided to give Herencia Clothing a try! I learned about them while watching a clothing haul by a Youtuber I follow. When I heard they were based in N.C. (my home state) I was even more excited to support! They carry men and women’s clothing and accessories, many of which represent an aspect of Mexican/Hispanic culture. Check out the unboxing of my purchases from Herencia Clothing, a Mexican-American, female owned, small business!

Fall Fingers!!

One of my favorite things about fall is the beautiful colors you can find in nature. Who doesn’t love the golden yellow, orange and red shades of the leaves as they change colors? The season change also brings about a change of color in our wardrobes. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love colorful things, especially when it comes to my makeup and cosmetic items. Some of my favorite fall color schemes revolve around chocolate brown and turquoise along with a nice burnt orange. OPI nail polish comes through with their Scotland collection which features some beautiful fall hues such as deep shimmery red and a bold orange. Not a fan of bold and bright? Handbag Organizers/Dust Protectors by COOFIT

Like many people that have been home due to the pandemic, cleaning and organizing the house has become one of my new pastimes. One of the main places on my list to organize was my closet. This included sorting clothes to donate or Poshmark and also organizing what was left so that I could have a better visual of what I have. I’m fortunate to have a decent size walk in closet with a nice shelving arrangement (I live in an apt). In my sorting and selecting, I came across a few Coach bags that I had held on to because I like them and do plan to switch back to from time to time. I wanted a way to store them that would protect them yet also allow me easy access to them. Making an impression when shipping or selling

 If you run a small business, sell clothes on Poshmark, or even if you just gift people with homemade crafting goodies from time to time, you probably use some form of shipping bags or packaging. One way to add a little flair to your packages is to use decorative shipping bags like the ones I featured in my YouTube video from Pack It Chic. This brand comes in a variety of size and design choices so no matter if you want a little hint of flashy or like to go all out, they have a pattern for you! Fenty Beauty + Fenty Skin haul

 

I think it’s safe to say, my favorite makeup brand is currently Fenty beauty. They just offer such a variety of items and the quality is great! The fall line of items has recently released at Sephora and on Fentybeauty.com. I snagged a few pieces from that collection along with with some of the new Fenty Skin products. If you haven’t heard, Rihanna created a skincare line called Fenty Skin that can be used to cleanse and moisturize your face. The products in the Fenty Skin line include a total cleanser which can be used to cleanse as well as remove makeup, a toner, and a moisturizer with SPF 30 sunscreen. The key thing to note is that the Fenty Skin line is eco-friendly including the moisturizer which does not contain ingredients that can be harmful to the coral reef.
