 Hey y’all! I finally took the time to do a Savage X Fenty haul!! If you’re not familiar with the line it’s Rihanna’s lingerie line that’s been killing the game! I’ve been shopping this brand basically since it launched and LOVE the products. I’m a VIP member which leads to even more perks and savings! Victoria’s who? Lol.  Hey y’all! I know you’re used to seeing me unbox my latest purchases but rarely do I double back and tell you how things are going with the product. Did I love it? Hate it? Recommend it?  I don’t think there’s much for me to say! This has quickly become one of my favorite brands for feminine care and self-care products. 

Battle of the Yoni Gels!! Which is my favorite? What do I like/dislike about each?

 For the past few months, I’ve switched my normal shower gel to a feminine wash called a yoni gel. A Yoni gel is a natural feminine wash that can help prevent conditions such as vaginal itch, odor, dryness, and bacterial vaginosis (BV) without using harsh chemicals or fragrances that could cause irritation. I’ve tried yoni gels from 3 different black owned companies and shared my thoughts on them in the video below! I have to say ladies, if you have never tried a yoni gel, I highly recommend it!

Citizens of Heaven Apparel: A faith-based clothing line

 It’s not often that you see a trendy clothing brand completely dedicated to expressing faith based messages but Citizens of Heaven apparel is here to change that! This black-owned clothing line combines fashion and faith to create premium quality, trendy, urban pieces for believers of all ages. Many of the pieces are unisex and with a newly added kids line, there’s something for the whole family! Check out a few of the pieces I’ve picked up in the video below!

Black-Owned Small Business Favs!

 One of the goals I’ve set for myself as a consumer is to focus on shopping locally and supporting small businesses, especially Black or minority owned small businesses. During the pandemic, I had the opportunity to research Black-owned businesses and found there were tons out there with their own versions of products I use on a regular basis. In some cases, I have traded my big box brand products with products I purchase from these small businesses.  Check out my video below to see some of my favorite items from 5 different black-owned small businesses! Best of all I know 3 of the 5 business owners personally, which makes buying from these businesses even more meaningful to me. I will definitely have a part 2 coming soon as well as a favorites from black/minority owned product lines!

Beauty Bakerie Bite Size Beauty! Target Exclusive!

One of my favorite Black-owned makeup brands has just launched a new makeup line that is exclusive to Target! The Beauty Bakerie line wanted to create a line that was more accessible and affordable to more people. Based on what I’ve tried so far, this brand does not lose the quality or cuteness that comes along with the original brand. New year, new post! Izzy & Liv Haul!

 

Happy New Year everyone! Hopefully your 2021 has been off to a great start! I’m just getting back into the swing of things after taking a much needed break! One of my goals is to continue to focus on supporting and promoting minority owned businesses as much as possible.
